One in six Canadians live with infertility or are struggling to build their families. By becoming a volunteer with Fertility Matters Canada, you are making a difference in their lives by showing them that they are not alone. You are giving a voice to infertility and empowering yourself in your own journey. FMC is committed to providing you the resources you need to help make a difference to the 600,000 men and women across this country who need support.
How to get involved:
Support Group Leader
FMC currently supports 39 support groups across Canada. We are currently looking to expand this network to ensure all Canadians have access to local supports. Topics can include: coping strategies, treatment education, grief & bereavement, how to deal with family, friends & co-workers, increasing hope and optimism, and general support for primary and secondary infertility. FMC provides ongoing training and resources to all support group leaders.
Advocacy
FMC is committed to promoting equal access to fertility treatments. We need you to help build a strong voice by engaging with governments, of all levels, in Canada. For more information or to obtain a government advocacy package, contact info@fertilitymatters.ca
Fundraising
FMC exists because of generous donations from individuals, professionals, clinics and industry partners. In order to continue to be the best fertility resource in Canada, and to ensure no Canadian goes through their infertility journey alone, we need your help! For more information on how you can help or to donate, please email info@fertilitymatters.ca

CIAW is FMC’s national awareness week that takes place each April. We are currently looking for volunteers to help organize national and local events for CIAW! Email info@fertilitymatters.ca to get involved today!
