Jill Pilgrim

Jill Pilgrim is a Senior Consultant in Federal Government Affairs at Santis Health where she helps clients in the health and life sciences sectors shape policy and advance advocacy initiatives on a national scale. She has been passionate about equal access to fertility care and support since her teenage years, when she began coming to terms with her queer identity and the fact that building a family may look different for her and people in her community.

Prior to joining Santis, Jill spent nearly a decade as a political staffer with the federal government, providing strategic counsel to four Ministers across three key portfolios. She served in a variety of roles during this time, including Director of Policy (Health Systems) and Legal Affairs for the Honourable Mark Holland, Minister of Health. It was through this role that Jill was able to work more closely on sexual and reproductive health files and gain a better understanding of the barriers - and opportunities - that exist in the Canadian fertility health space.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of New Brunswick, and is a licensed legal practitioner in Ontario.
