Jessica Spindler

Jess’s connection to Fertility Matters Canada is deeply personal. Her fertility journey began in 2020, giving her firsthand insight into the emotional and systemic challenges of navigating fertility care. As a patient in both Manitoba and Ontario, she has seen how differences in provincial systems — particularly in access to care — shape the patient experience.

Professionally, Jess is a lawyer and public policy professional with over a decade of experience in governance, legislative reform, and government relations. She has worked within the federal government and the Government of Ontario, including serving as a senior advisor to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. She brings to the Board expertise in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic policy development.

Jess is based in Barrie, Ontario. In her spare time, she enjoys creative pursuits and spending time outdoors, especially horseback riding.
