Carolynn Dubé
Carolynn joined Fertility Matters Canada as the Executive Director in February 2015. A vocal advocate of increased support and awareness for equitable access to fertility in Canada, she has helped to shape FMC into a modern organization that understands the needs of Canadians who need access to fertility care. A fertility patient herself, Carolynn has worked with provincial governments to help shape their fertility program guidelines and has spent time working with Health Canada during consultations for changes to the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. She has presented to the Canadian Senate and is a founding leader of the Atlantic Canada patient advocacy group, East Coast Miracles. She represents Canada on the APEC Smart Families Initiative.
Before joining FMC, Carolynn worked in public and private health promotion and prevention sectors. She has worked as an exercise specialist for the Canadian Armed Forces and in high-performance sports.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of New Brunswick.
Carolynn, her husband Bryan, and their three sons live in New Brunswick.
